“The waters flooded the earth for a hundred and fifty days.” – Genesis 7:24
During the time when Noah and his family lived on earth, God sent a great flood that wiped out every living thing on the face of the earth including:
The people...
(if you were born thousand of years ago, you could have been one of them :p)
The animals...
(well, if you were born thousand of years ago, you could have also been one of them :p)
The creatures that move along the ground...
(maybe...)
And the birds of the air…
(hmmm)
The waters rose and covered the mountains to a depth of more than 20 feet.
If God can do such thing before, how can he not make it today?
TYPHOON JUANING
According to the Bicolandia’s only regional newspaper, Bicol Mail, the death toll due to the typhoon Juaning which struck Bicol last July 26, 2011 rises to 21 while 5 are still missing.
After all that happened, I can still say that we are fortunate. We were not expunged like what happened during the great flood. We still have earth. You still have your life. You can still read this.
The answer to my question “If God can do such thing before, how can he not make it today?”
...
THE RAINBOW
this is sign of the covenant God made between him and every living creature. It is a covenant for all generations to come.
“I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy ALL LIFE.” – Genesis 9:13,15b
so what are you waiting for?! CELEBRATE LIFE!
